I realised how much i've been lagging in my blogging. arrgh its pretty hard to keep track of every single detail so i shall do summing up of the happenings instead (:

people in the family. okay granduncle henry & grandauntie josie finally arrived in Singapore yesterday. i missed them; especially all of granduncle's hilarious stories and adventures, haha! didn't join them for breakfast today but i'm gonna wake up at 6am tmr to make up for that.

Sis made her way back from Sydney one day before them.

everything's safe and intact- except her handphone. apparently it got stolen from her bag just a day before her return, and mum's been nagging nonstop about that. and so dad gave her the sony ericsson cybershot phone, making her all so hyped up about being able to see dad at work using the 3G function. "wow".

check out the foodstuffs she bought back;

goodness, there was like a whole load of cadbury bars! haha and of course i had 2 boxes of my highly-craved-for donuts as well as tons of macadamia nuts.

my poor grandma, she was discharged but subsequently came down with fever. and now even the sore eyes struck her.

bakings. i now have a whole long list of "wanna-bakes" but i can't avoid continuously postponing them ): plus there's like so many days of the week that i gotta return to school. this is no holiday lar, sigh. anyways, managed to squeeze in this one..

mother's day. (the long outdated occasion) With dad and sis both overseas, i was the only one left to celebrate it with mummy. lunch was a "mothers gathering" with my aunts and grandma at green on earth cafe.

lineup of mothers.

following that, i brought mum to AMK hub's New York New York for dinner- my favourite sandwiches! this heartland branch here is real packed with a snake-long winding queue, and we waited for close to an hour to get a table! i admit its total madness but i'll do anything to satisfy my sandwich cravings, heh.

the ultimate New Yorker..

omg it was heavens lar. the toast, ham, honey mustard and grilled vegetables all seemed like a perfect combination- just short of some gooey melted cheddar =p

mum had a tuna mayo one which was a bad choice cause of the utterly high sodium content.
go for the new yorker!

this year i made a cake to suit mum's tastebuds;

a mango mousse cake!

forgone a whole half of my sleep to spend the entire night getting this done. the whole process took from like 10pm to 3am? haha, that should show my efforts invested (:

the interior of cake, mousse, cake, mousse, jelly- all made with fresh mangoes!

Mummy with the cake..

and a shot with my maid as well...

and i hope mum liked the necklace i bought =x

team sajc matches. have been going down the the delta stadium at redhill to support our girl's hockey team. won the semis against rjc but we lost the most recent finals with vjc. 1-0, and that determines our second placing.

(semi-finals) the two extremes.

also managed to be one of the classes scheduled for the boy's tennis finals- to support our fellow S18 yingneng and ian. the former lost but fortunately for sa, the latter won a match at least. whoa, and because of ian's victory, samantha & i won a free ben&jerry's treat from junhe! what a sure-win bet that was (:

thats yingneng..

and ian, doing his serve.

the S18 supporters;

(from left) jingwen, huiling, sarah, me, caroline....goes on.

the clique @ kallang tennis centre (in the absence of clarissa). okay we were trying very hard to open our eyes but the sun was too scorching.

culinary club. sushi-making time! it was lots of fun attempting sushi for the first time and i learnt alot more about cooking and seasoning the rice. presenting elaine's first self-rolled product..

with yummy crabstick, cucumber and salmon!

girls in action.

our final assorted platter. looks good uh?

thats all for now. oh YAY the hols are here!
