happy good friday!

now finally a day to catch up on all the sleep i've lost and a good self-made toast for breakfast to cheer things up a little (:

NOW FOR MY RANTINGS- i swear i don't totally enjoy jc life.

yes, sa may be a fun school and all but im already starting to get sick of this rigid schooling routine. wake up early in the morning, be in time for assembly, attend all those tutorials & lectures and then end the long draggy day with rushing out econs essays. its that sian.

i'm like beginning to separate off from the trio clique now cause seriously speaking, three's a crowd and theres no point at all. clinging on will just do more harm than good so might as well give up.

cca wise i kind of screwed my decision as well. was contemplating between saints sports club or culinary&homemaking club but intincts told me that i should head for my passion. so i went for the orientation and played some pretty pointless station games with 9 other people. the people there are really nice, but somehow i feel that i should go for sports instead. arrgh contradictions, damn.

07S18. the guys are forever acting childish and insane during lessons to annoy all the teachers, hah. but i find the girls all getting along quite well. ooh, just yest we went to the students centre to chill out together.

oh, haha and i went to subway twice this week; dinner with cass & afternoon snack with sarah.

both their first-time there and everyone finds subway yummy (:

cass enjoying her double choc chip.

next issue- daddy has been travelling really often these days. he recently went to Vancouver & Los Angeles, came back for one day, then left for Shanghai & Seoul. yesterday he just informed that he will be leaving for Amsterdam, followed by a trip to Japan, then to Paris and soon to Hungary (wow what a world tour, haha!) ya and this means that we wouldn't be spending much time with him & so i'm beginning to appreaciate and treasure him more while he is still in Singapore.

Just last Sunday daddy brought me out for lunch- Angus House at Ngee Ann City!

daddy told me he used to frequent here with his colleagues (10 over years back) for their premium wagyu steak and he loves the food. this is a japanese-western fusion steakhouse and their waitresses are all dressed in those chamber maid's uniform as seen in those Mangas, so interesting!

the food;

both of us had the set lunch with came with a soup, bread and salad. Mine also included a tea while dad's more premium set had a dessert instead. the table setting was cool- pink & black.

ooh the clam chowder, homemade bread ball and salad were so good. freshly-baked bread was served warm and entirely crispy on the outside, plus nice creamy soup with plently of clams (but i dumped all to dad =x) and the refreshing salad with some light japanese dressing. I felt that my grilled chicken & prawn was alright only, but was glad that dad loved his steak. took a bite of the tiramisu as well (although i don't usually eat that) and it was surprisingly not bad.

so that was another quality time spent with my dad.

after dinner i went down to taka food basement to buy DONUTS~!

Pop doh is under Four Leaves and their signature 'doh' is actually cake-based instead of the usual dough-based. I bought a Cinnamon doh, chocolate with sprinkles doh and a white choc & strawberry donut. soft & cakey; its definitely something different (:

okie, off to pick grandma to guanyin temple. updates again soon.
