homemade oreo cheesecake, anyone?
finally dedicated a weekend morning to my baking passion (: have been so caught up with all the schoolwork & stuffs that i can hardly find time to bake anymore, so this is one rare exception. enjoy!

27th April Friday
-SAJC Drama Play
ms kotwani practically FORCED made our entire class support her by going for the drama play. had no choice but to pay $12 for a really cheapskate-looking ticket; its basically a blue slip of photocopied paper. anyone can just fake a ticket easily lar, how stupid.
anyways we decided to go as a class and make this a 07S18 outing instead. so yea, headed down to bugis with sarah after chem lecture.oh man then it started raining and we our shoes were totally soaked, damn gross. were super hungry once we reached bugis!
Had the chicken floss toast at De Toast, while sarah had their macaroni salad. Then we tried Uzumaki's new seasonal flavours; milk tea (with some mini pearls topping) & sakura.
ooh, the milk tea one was alrite but i didn't like those pearl toppings.
Met the rest at 6pm for dinner at the foodcourt. sarah & i (the jap food lovers) shared a unagi don & agedashi tofu from the japanese stall..
im so glad we shared it- the rice was quite alot.
gave ian a surprise birthday celebration- it was super hilarious lar. i got yingneng to bring ian to the toilet first while caroline & jingwen brought the stuffs over. but we were so slow in preparing that i had to keep informing yingneng to drag for time- imagine 2 guys staying in the toilet for 15 minutes, LOL. then when we were finally done, the 2 of them took sooo long to return that all the candles became baby short.

plus a giant kiddy balloon to paiseh him. haha this is obviously jingwen's suggestion =x

and all of us started to sing the song in the middle of the foodcourt. oh man i swear it was embarrassing.

Realised we were late after clearing up and stuffs, so we hurriedly walked over to nafa. fortunately, brandon and yingjie were there early to reserve seats for us (: oh, and here comes the second highlight of the day- we spotted huiching there with a guy and yingjie sitting far away from them. gosh, then we naturally had fun teasing him bout that.. AND his dumb t-shirt;

"Love, Food & Babies" was alright, i liked the theme but i had higher expectations of that. Still, it managed to make all of us laugh a couple of times. ended at bout 9.30pm.

walked back to bugis junction together after the play. oh then we saw some cute pens which justin wanted to sponsor for our class identity. but in the end we decided to come back another time to get them. one last group shot..(distorted due to resizing)
yes, we sure witnessed how ian was having problems with the balloon. his balloon got jammed somewhere and almost couldn't get out of the train on time. all thanks to jingwen, HAHA.
25th April Wednesday
-seoul garden with pastamanians
Yet another fun-filled day! started off with Justin's surprise birthday celebration in the caf, once again planned by our wonderful hoo jingwen =p
The very special present we prepared this time...
18 cups of teh-bing for the 18 year-old Justin Chou!
it seemed more like a punishment actually, but he simply drank sips from each cup then gave them away.
oh, not forgetting the most important surprise..

its CCA day where we hae our usual 3 hour break.so Sarah & i decided to return to TKGS to collect our olevel certs.
it looks seriously dumb with that bare tree.
was rather taken aback by how the canteen had changed. apparently they did some revamping and even named it Quatre Saisons @ tkgs. the stalls now have new bright signboards with the weirdest names like Oriental Chicken. haha worse, the indian stall is called BOLLY BOLLY, goodness!
of course, we had to eat our favourite Dosai!
i missed this lots! its the only chicken thosai that i ever see around, and the filling is very uniquely marinated. Large, cheap and delicious!
just look at her glee and you can guess how good it is.
went back on time for culinary club meeting. it ended surprisingly early so i managed to go home to get changed before meeting maggie and the rest. its huijin's birthday celebration at taka's seoul garden!jiayun had training till quite late so we went in without her first. not much variety there actually, just marinated meat and those yong tau foo items. started with the cooked food until she came to join us. had so fun eating with them!
apparently we sent maggie to get our second round of meat for us, and she shocked us with..
an entire plate filled with heaps of it! then she continued by introducing each of the flavour- there was my favourite charsiew-marinated, tomyum, bulgogi, beef,deer meat and even coffee-flavoured chicken. whoa.
laughter throughout! haha maggie's "blurness" really kept us entertained, she's just naturally cute lar! but of course, the highlight of the meal had to be the celebration!the birthday girl with her cake & presents;
icecream for desserts!
i had like 2 helpings! the vanilla flavour was yummy.

cow=sarah the moo moofish=elaineschool ended early today because mr yuen couldn't make it for physics practical and we managed to get ms kotwani to push GP forward. how nice. so huiling and i went to chill out at orchard atrium's TCC outlet- yay another one of those cheesecake sessions which i absolutely enjoy! 
american cheese for me & oreo cheese for her.yumyumyum. now i finally feel that my life is starting to get better and happier! my studies may be still on the downhill motion, but im sure i'll solve the problems one day ya. shall get to my PI now, updates soon.*but now there's something hurting me real badly. forgive my contradictions.
