there's like lots to update about (:

have been spending alot of time at work these days, thus reducing on baking. i must admit the whole working thing can get really tiring, but still i do enjoy it. got to know many new colleagues and learnt plenty of stuffs. one thing; we snack ALOT during work =x oh yes, mark made us chocolate banana iceblended smoothie today. it was damn nice! haha imagine that freezing cool creamy & rich chocolate taste with a tinge of banana....

today i ought to slap myself. haha can you believe i actually wore slippers out on the way to work?!! so once i realised, i quickly got daddy to drive my shoes out for me to change then chionged for the next train. luckily i was in time for a fast lunch at subway before starting work (:

this time i had a turkey breast sub on wheat bread instead of italian. sort of regretted my decision cos the wheat bread was too dry and difficult to swallow. but i still managed to gobble the whole thing in 5 minutes. lol.

dad patronised today. Only told Agus that my father was here and soon after that, all the rest knew about it. Mark even gave him a free drink (:

had dinner after my work shift ended at 5 pm;

Alfredo Penne in Aglio style (plus garlic bread)

met daddy to get my winter coat from some winter warehouse sale. then came home to watch star awards. RENFU (:

Saturday 9th December
-lunch with parents

yes, ive started to dine with them again. i will still get damn pek chek at times but i tolerate it silently. haha! after a LONG wait for daddy to return from his morning gym session, i introduced them to New York New York cause i simply love their sandwich (:

American Coleslaw ($4.90)

Calamari ($6.90)

Low Fat Cappucino ($4.90)

My New Yorker ($7.90)

Uh yes, another wonderful version of their sandwiches, this time with honey baked ham, sauteed onions, roasted vegetables and honey mustard.

Their bread is toasted to perfection, and thus the best ive tasted to far. I guess they use some sort of grill; and the outcome is nicely crispy on the outer sides and still soft on the inner. It is really really good! will definitely return to try the rest of the sandwiches =p

Dad's Jiggy Piggy ($10.90);

basically porkchop in a standard sauce with wedges.

Mum's Tagliatelle Tomato Pasta with Half Chicken ($12.90);

okay wow i was surprised by the huge portion of roasted chicken.

i seriously think their food here is good, especially the superb versions sandwiches (: Pricing wise is also very reasonable, lower than other cafes around. will definitely return to try more of the sandwiches!

Friday 8th December
- lunch with serene

After reading some food blogs about Wham! burger @ China Square Food Centre, i decided to go visit it with serene. met at raffles place mrt and we found the place really quickly! pro people (:

My Chicken Whamburger ($4.80);

The thick chicken thigh meat is marinated in a flavourful satay sauce. However, the chicken was slightly too burnt and dry.

Serene had a Crispy Fish Burger ($4.90);

After that we headed down to bugis. Dropped by the Teenage @ Bugis Cafe to chat.

We got some drinks and an apple crumble ($3.80) ;

The special part was that they added dessicated coconut onto the crust. Other than that, it was rather average with the overly dry crumble but i kind of like the base.

took the comfy sofa seats which made a great place to act like taitais having a lovely high-tea session. haha!

thats taitai ngo shaking the sugar.

thats us posing with the dummy outside the cafe with some POOR photography skills of a passerby. sigh.

oh i bought a new tee from bugis street! tenbucks.

Met my relatives for dinner. ben's treat @ marina south (:

they chose chomp pang. okay, they had really good crabs and sotong balls.
