the Os are officially over and so blogging resumes! but its like a weird feeling. before that i was dying for this time to come; but now i just dont feel too happy. the last paper was like a total screw-up but no matter what, its OVER (:immediate celebrating started yesterday; shopping at marina square.sarah.peckhong.wanyee.fang.elaine.we stopped for some 1A crispy curry puffs & the AZABU SABO hokkaido icecream! it was simply just too irresistable.
we tried 5 different flavours althogether. sarah; tiramisuwanyee & i ; black sesame + mango peck & fang; dark chocolate + cookies n' cream
i didn't really enjoy the tiramisu one but was hooked to the rest! black sesame was special and not overly sweet. wanyee claims that she had never tasted such good mango icecream before. LOL. and the dark chocolate was so good we kept stealing it from fang and peck. haha!sarah left for bible studies while we had steamboat @ marina south. once we exited the mrt station, we were approached by this persistent uncle who claims to provide free shuttle service to and fro from the restaurant. so we were contemplating and after we missed one totally full bus, we decided to go for the offer. and guess wat, it was a ride of a lifetime. arrgh it was like a mini lorry and we climbed up and sat up there at the back in our sch u. haha. similar to a not-so-extreme roller coaster ride with the winds blowing so hard on you that u cant even talk lar. gosh. so anyways we ended up at this pinxian steamboat place.there were 5 huge succulent 'live' prawns covered up in a bowl. and as i opened it to take a pic, one freakking prawn jumped out. and then the indian man there picked it up, wash it and dumped it back in the bowl. super paiseh lar! but the prawns were so juicy and good!
yummy food. ok i must admit that wanyee and i really can eat (: we were the ones who kept taking food and eating non-stop. they had chilli & pepper crabs as well but we didnt touch those. haha but the fried mantous were really yummy (:
last shot. then it was back to the mrt, but this time in a van. lol so got home at bout ten plus and the train was crammed with people.will blogg soon.elaine.
