my family just have this dumb serious eating problem.

can you tell me which child doesnt get affected when they know that their parents are SERIOUSLY eating too little, totally eliminating carb foods from their diets, and always ending up as the only one eating something decent during the so-called "family meals"?

please, can someone just enlighten them with some fricking common sense that parents' diets certainly do affect the children???!!??? even the newspaper says so.

okay yes i am super annoyed by the fact that when i eat with my parents, i end up as the only one "really" eating. and the problem just exploded at ajisen ramen yesterday.

Everyone was okay. I ordered a vegetable ramen (i mean like, who doesnt order ramen at ajisen duh?) , dad ordered a chashu ramen and mummy just had a pathetic tofu. ok annoying factor no 1. Next, daddy, following his stupid habit since he started his diet, wastes more than half of his ramen. WTH.

And then he told me off by saying that me & my sis always CONTROLS what he eats and FORCES him to eat. EXCUSE ME, like i bet im the only child who instead teaches her father not to WASTE food. and just by educating him not to waste food, he takes it as im FORCING him to eat??!??

and yes, he carried on by raving on how he hates to have meals with me or my sister and how it stresses. alrite, FINE. feeling hurt, i teared. and then i told myself, im NEVER gonna have another meal with him anymore. save the stress and hatred. and then i stomped off.

and after messaging my sister, i realised she was told off by him a week ago and they had been having a cold war till now. and then she carries on ignoring me. so ya, i gotta settle all my meals from now on, with no allowance at all. and live with having a cold war with 2 out of 3 of my family members.

elaine ng, you so need to get a job. arrgh.

and i shall express my heartfelt gratitude to jess for accompanying me for dinner today! (: eating with her is a dozen times happier and less pek chek than eating with my very own wonderful parents.

visited the temple in the morning, then pigged at a funfair with my relatives. had a filling vegetarian burger, a sinful stick of chocolate coated fruits, a nice cool papaya watermelon smoothie, and warm nice muah chee. lol. Followed them to chinatown to add grandma's name to our korean tour.

left to meet jess at bugis. realised that we're both broke, but i was much worse. haha nevertheless, we still had our yummy and economical vanilla softserve from macs.

dinner was at yoshinoya;

teriyaki chicken rice with barbeque sauce chicken balls. heh.

jess started chomping on cadbury while on the way to hougang mall. bought some baking supplies (despite my tight financial situation) before going back home.

oh and she is going for church camp tmr le, and so there'll be one less person to pei me for meals. sigh. alrites, and this poor mood of mine will result in a delay of prom photos.

i seriously need to find a job asap.any recommendations?

elaine.
